Message So, I see that you're a two-stroke fan too, eh? =^)

Well, the previous owner was the one that had the bike registered the bike and the way it was explained to me goes like this. You go to a bike recycler (junkyard) and find a bike that has been wrecked or has a blown engine, (same brand, BTW, in this case, Honda) and take the little VIN plaque off of it. You then register the bike with that VIN. It works better if the bike is older, say from the 80s. (My bike is registered as an '88.) The only issue with this is, because your bike is *seen* as an older bike, if you wreck the bike or if is stolen, you're pretty much screwed because you will only get the value for that bike of that year, say $2000-$2500 or something like that even though I paid $7000. So that will be the risk when you do this. Be careful out there riding! ;^)

it if you don't mind? I have three two-strokes..... an '84 RZ350(liquid cooled twin, 6spd, ported, polished, Weisco pistons, Boysen reeds, flat slide conversion on carbs, Corbi solo seat, TZR250 full fainring, clips ons, K&N's etc) it is a basketcase right now tho. Th RD350 was the RZ's foreunner... has rd400 alloy rims on it, rear disk brake conversion, and built for racing at Hallet. I put charging system back on it and lights to make it street legal. It is so tweaked it is unrideable onthe street, need to detune it some :) Gotta love 2-strokes! :) I would like a Suzuki Gamma or a Yammy TZR perhaps.....

Mike
